Slightly caffeinated thoughts on a Tuesday
There is a rainbow over the river this morning. The “end” is right in the middle of the passage, reflecting brilliantly of the water.
A boat passed through and I found myself wondering “Do you know when you’re standing in the middle of a rainbow?”
My first guess was, of course one would notice moving from everyday light into a prism of technicolor brilliance. But on second thought, my guess is that it is normalized much like our experience in the warm glow of golden hour.
I met with a new to me group of coaches yesterday to discuss a book we’ve all been reading and one of the questions was What do you want from your coaching practice? This was prompted by the following:
“Start to outline your dream lifestyle now.
Don’t worry if it seems out of reach. Imagine your life five years from now. Ten years. Who are your dream clients? Where would you love to be coaching them?what else would you love to be doing?”
Rich Litvin ~The Prosperous Coach
I was journaling my response and looked up to see the boat passing through the rainbow.
What if this IS the dream and I haven’t taken a step out of the rainbow far enough to see it?
Do you ever wonder if THIS is it?
Maybe, you’re living your very best moments or you’re at the worst of the worst. You really don’t know until you step outside of it to look back at where you were or perhaps, how far you’ve come.
Moral of the story?
Love your life.
Find joy along the way towards your goal.
And once in a while, stop and take a good look at your life to appreciate a rainbow or two of your own.
Be happy.
Love the Present-ness of enjoying the rainbows :)
